So I decided to buy one of those 3 line grade books but now I can't figure this out (I feel so silly) I hope I can describe my problem, maybe I am just not seeing what I should be seeing. So only 20 students fit on one page, so you are supposed to tear off the top part so that when you turn the page to students 21-40 you can still see the assignments/dates at the top.
But does that mean that every 10 weeks (what fits on 2 pages) I have to rewrite all of the students names?? I didn't use a gradebook last year but did while student teaching but it was only a 1 line gradebook and you could tear off the sides to show the names when you turn the page. I am so confused because I can't add more than 20 students with having to rewrite the name every 10 weeks. Am I just missing something? Can you picture what I am talking about???
