The plan was not to heal my body by eradicating the root cause; it was to suppress the symptoms using medications, indefinitely. To be fair, no two people who have idiopathic angioedema will react.

Rising Down The Roots Rarest

Note: If I get any names wrong, don't include you, or forget to include you, just know that my memory is a little muddled from this day. I'll chalk it up to heat exhaustian. The following is an abbreviated version of that morning/afternoon. There are not enough characters for the full story. My duties as Guardian were varied. However, they culminated Sunday morning and afternoon in an epic battle of watery wits.

Recruited me to work on the water team along with, (I think?), and some other Guardians. And might have been there too, I can't remember if they helped out or were on EMT duty the whole time. Give water to the zombies you say? No sweat I thought.

If felt like some sort of Japanese game show. Lugging a full water cooler to thirsty zombies, while having to perform some sort of hydration triage.

If Sunday’s shoot was a battlefield and thirst was an injury, we were the medics. I could see my fallen zombies, thirsting for life. But alas, I could not reach them all.

Plus, Jack totally cut everyone off to shoot some more. So yeah, blame him. Anyway, after that initial aqua-salvo, we then started filling up cups to put on standby.,, and some other attendees chipped in. They were a big help. THEN, we started tending to the coolers in the tent. All the while carrying empty water coolers to fill up and hauling away full ones. After taking care of the tent coolers, we then set up a table by the remaining zombies being filmed.

It was battle of logistics. In the end, we kicked some H2-Ass. Then, the pizza came. Another logistical struggle. There was wind all over the place.

As we handed out the pizza the boxes started flying everywhere. However, it was actually fun being on pizza duty. I liked feeding the zombies. The Guardians and some other fans helped hand it all out. Man that pizza was fucking hot. I’ve never touched hotter pizza.

It was like the box was the oven. But it was aight. Jack helped us too.

We went through a lot of pizza that day. I’m pretty sure there was a total of 4 orders. I saw the bill on some of the orders.

No joke, total pizza cost had to have been between $600 and $1,000. AND THEN, more water cooler duty. Man, people would not stop drinking.

But it was like, 500 degrees so I can’t blame them. Anyway, we tended the water coolers until there were roughly less than 100 people left out there. The shoot was pretty much wrapped up by then. Me and Jason were in disbelief how early it was. I looked at my phone, expecting it to be 5:30 and it was only 2:30. Pretty sweet feeling. All the Guardians then starting cleaned up.

Afterward, we went into the RT office and took a much deserved break. Until we started cleaning again. Anyway, that’s pretty much the end of the water cooler story.

I think the next time I see one I’m gonna punch it. In no particular order: As far as their soundtracks that I could track down, I have: Trigun: 1 of 2 Blue Gender: 1 of 3 Outlaw Star: 1 of 2 Elfen Lied: 1 of 1 Cowboy Bebop: 0 of? Samurai Champloo: 2 of 2 I have no idea how many soundtracks Cowboy Bebop put out. I once heard it was like 6 discs. The Elfen Lied soundtrack I have was downloaded, as the hard copy is extremely difficult to find. The other soundtracks I have are all hard copies. I might have to use the Japanese Amazon to buy the other Blue Gender soundtracks.

Pro-tip: You can log in to the UK Amazon (amazon.co.uk) with your American Amazon account info. They have a lot of stuff that the American Amazon doesn't. Just be aware of region codes if you're buying movies/tv shows on DVD or Blu-Ray. Shipping ain't that bad either, it just takes way longer. You can find the list of anime I've watched. I have no idea if that would be considered a lot or a little. I'm probably missing a handful though.

Did I mention I'm making 4 (as of right now) journals entries today? Trying to bump my Thursday journal stats. Anyways, you should check out. They're called Three Leaf ().

They're based in Austin, TX. I first heard them around San Marcos in '05 or '06 when I was going to Texas State (2003-2007). I actually met the members through friends before I ever heard the band. I have EXTREMELY fond memories of their music.

Their first album was pretty much the soundtrack to one of the best eras in my life. Hung out with them a couple times, playing poker and such. They just came out with their new album. Give it a listen. I'm not really qualified to speak on genres so don't take this description to heart, but I'd describe them as a folksy/indie introspective version of a feel gooder Modest Mouse.

I'm sure Three Leaf would not characterize themselves that way, but that's the best I could come up with. Go check out their music, as well as their blog to see what they're all about. I'm really happy they're still around. I wish the best for them.

One thing I really took away from RTX was just how awesome the Ramseys are. On Saturday, a bunch of people were taking pictures of Geoff, Griffon, and Millie as a family. It was really cool.

Seeing Geoff and Griffon together was something else. They seemed so comfortable with each other. Like, REALLY in love. Seeing them together, whether they were talking or just looking at each other, they just oozed mushiness. They’re also really down with public displays of affection. Whether it’s Griffon hanging on Geoff or Geoff putting water balloons in Griffon’s shirt in front of everybody, they were totally cool with it. It was quite endearing to see two people that look so in love.

Going into the weekend, I was slightly concerned about the amount of attention Griffon was going to get, seeing as Griffon may be somewhat of a sex symbol to many people in the RT community. I was worried a bunch of dudes were gonna be crowding her. I remember when she walked by the registration line on Friday. It was like she was walking by a construction site, with all the cat-calls and hooting/hollerin. But since she was once a hitchhiker, casual nudist, lesbian, and all around Earth child, I guess the attention just rolls off her back. I got the opportunity to chat with her in RT’s room on Sunday night. She’s pretty cool, and much lovelier in person.

Millie was cute as fucking hell. She got covered in poison ivy on Saturday and had to be practically saturated in poison ivy spray by Griffon. When I was up in RT’s room, I got to see her play with Caleb and Patricia. She was stabbing people with rose stems, saying funny shit like “go for the body” and asking “why is it bad to stab people?”.

It was impossible to resist a general “d-aaawwwww” feeling. She also referred to Griffon and Geoff as “mom and dad” and not “mommy and daddy”. I thought that was interesting.

I didn’t get the chance to talk much with Geoff during RTX. He was a good sport about the water balloon fight on Saturday, as well as being thrown in the pool on Sunday. I saw him later upstairs, squeezing water out of his shoes.

Fucking hilarious. We were both in the RT room on Sunday when Millie was playing. Seeing Geoff in dad mode is actually slightly intimidating. Like, Liam Neeson in the movie Taken intimidating. But he was great with her. If you could see auras, his would totally envelope her. He seems like he would be the “cool dad” among Millie’s friends later in life.

Not the “he’ll let you do anything” dad, but more like the “just plain awesome” dad. So, the Ramseys are cool.

Geoff’s a solid man’s man. Griffon is prettier in person, and twice as cool. And Millie redefines the word cute.

The Ramseys are super fucking cool. Seeing Geoff and Griffon together, and seeing them interact with Millie, you instantly get the impression that that’s one solid family..... Now that I look back on this journal, I kind of think it looks like a girl wrote it. Guys can appreciate family values too man. I’m sure everyone has noticed that Halo fans are quite restless after the news of Halo 4.

A lot of positive and negative reactions out there. So let’s go over some general topics, as well as my thoughts on the matter. Links abound for your benefit. Some Halo fans say, “ Let it end! It was perfect!”, or “ Don’t squeeze more money out of it! It’s already gone downhill!” To those people, I say: everyone saw this coming. I truly think that a lot of people who played Halo 3 did not wait until the end of credits after beating the game.

To these people, everything in the teaser trailer likely came as a total surprise. So those who saw the REAL end of Halo 3, we were already expecting pretty much everything in the trailer. So, as a refresher, let me tell you what happened at the, as well as what happened after the credits. Master Chief and Cortana survive the Ark’s explosion in half of a UNSC ship. Chief goes into cryo sleep, telling Cortana to wake him when she needs him, seeing as it could be months or even years until someone finds them. If you beat the game on Legendary, there was a bonus cut scene after this. We see the busted up UNSC ship falling/moving toward a weird planet/machine.

So you see, we knew something was coming. In the trailer we saw the Chief jump out of cryo, make his way towards the broken part of the ship, and see the planet/machine that was shown at the end of Halo 3. So, those people saying to let Halo end or that the premise of the trailer makes no sense need to shut the hell up.

Halo 3 ended with a that everyone knew was going to have to be answered in the future, and the trailer appears to be a direct linear continuation of where we last saw Master Chief. What is that big thing in the trailer? Cpu Components And Functions Pdf Creator. What’s the plot?

Most people, and I mean the hardcore fans, assume that the big thing in the trailer is the planet of. For those of you who did not read the Halo novel “”, the book ended with and some Spartans ( AND ) being trapped on the Forerunner world of Onyx. Onyx is actually not a planet, but instead composed of a shitload of. Onyx’s purpose is to guard the entrance to a Forerunner.

I’ll spare you the details. Just click the links to learn more.

Notable Spartans currently trapped there include S-III’s and, as well S-II’s and. Halo fans knew that the story of the novels had to intersect with the games at one point, and it looks like Halo 4 will be it. Most fans also agreed that the Ghosts of Onyx storyline was the best point at which to merge the books and the games.

Ghosts of Onyx came out in 2006, almost a year before Halo 3. So it stands to reason that Bungie and Microsoft had already agreed on the next arc of the Halo universe when Halo 3 was made. When I first saw the end of Halo 3, I thought the planet they were falling toward was maybe another like. But the Halo 4 trailer all but confirms that it’s Onyx. According to 343, '. Seeing as Shield Worlds were meant as Forerunner military outposts to battle the Flood, I believe that the Flood will be the main antagonist for this new trilogy. I’m just excited to FINALLY see Kelly and Master Chief both in a game.

Although many people regard Cortana as the Chief’s only love interest, Kelly is very close as well. They’ve known each since they were kids. You might recall both of them in the Halo Legends episode. In the episode, the creators totally lathered on the romantic tension between Chief and Kelly. Trust me, if they’re both in Halo 4, there’s going to be a romantic angle. Continued in the first two comments. I'm sure you noticed how a lot of people wrote journals about how they were going to write journals about RTX.

That's because we're all super-pooped. So let me give you a lengthy recap of days 2, 3, and my overall feelings about the event: Day 2 - Saturday Woke up bright and early to man the shuttles taking the attendees to the Drafthouse. Coffee helped. It was kind of hectic getting everyone in their theatres. We were first gonna go by badge number, but then we stopped. Me and the rest of the Guardians were in theatre 6.

The cool theatre. We got snacks, drinks, and whatnot (whatnot means beer). We had technical difficulties for the first two videos, but we soldiered through and managed to watch them all properly. They screened some really cool stuff. 20 minutes of Season 9 (badass by the way), RT shorts, Waypoint stuff, Slow Mo Guy stuff, Drunk Tank Animated Adventures, and even a cool music video.

And I have to say, aside from Season 9, the music video and the DTAA were the best stuff shown. After the Drafthouse, we all jumped in the shuttles and went to the office. My job was to accompany the tours through the office, making sure people didn't linger too long or steal stuff. After that, I pretty much roamed around and did minor stuff for most of the day.

Just monitered everyone, making sure shenanigans were not too shenanigany. There were epic water balloon fights (I saw the side-scroller camera get splashed pretty bad too, which is why they shut it down), hula hoop craziness, football circles, and Pokemon sing alongs. I already found TWO youtube videos of the sing along too. The Dark Knight Rises Soundtrack Free Download. When everything died down, I helped with trash and such. Took the shuttle back to the DubTree. I decided to do the Sidequest barcrawl that night, since I hadn't taken part in any of those events. I'll keep this short, as not to offend anyone, but I got 3 words for that night.

Wished I hadn't gone. I ended up going to bed at 3:30 and had to get up at 7. I'm sure the other Sidequest stuff was cool, but I didn't enjoy that portion. Day 3 - Sunday 7am. Took the shuttle to the lot.

Got started helping with makeup. Man, there were some cool zombie costumes. The siamese twin zombie(s) was/were by far the best. Those guys really hit it with that one. When the shoot started, I mostly manned the tent. Soon, I got recruited for water duty. That's pretty much the source of soreness (alliteration FTW).

It was pretty crazy. Hydrating 300+ sunburned zombies is not easy. If you were one of the zombies who did not get water during the first half of the shoot, just know that we were trying real hard and that there was a shortage of cups and time. If you looked at a Guardian and he ignored you, just know that you were one of hundreds of people also looking at him. The lunch break was cool.

Guardians got pizza. Twas quite delicious.

I felt bad for the people in line at the food truck. It got there late and food was delayed by like 45 minutes. Joel announced that not everyone would get food, but that Dominos would be delivered. I was really surprised when he asked for more zombies to film and like 70% of them volunteered again.

Those people were troopers. They hadn't eaten, only had little water, and still went back. Major zombie props to those guys.

The water team set a table of coolers for them out by the shoot. We got pizza from Double Daves and Dominos, which we set up on a few tables.

When the shoot was wrapped, we handed out pizza and pizza rolls to everyone. The pizza was fucking hot too. Had to tear off pieces of the box as plates. Felt bad giving hot pizza out. Any other day that's be great, but on a hot ass day like that I'm sure cold pizza would have been great too. Major props to Grady (), Fernando (), and whoever else helped us. Sorry if I forgot your name.

Guardians stayed after for a while, helping clean up and tear down. Near the end we went into office to put some stuff back. It was sssoooo cold in there. After we put everything back in there, we pretty much just plopped down in the break room area. Then some of the staff came and thanked us, and gave us a round of applause.

We then got some group pictures of all the Guardians (or most of them at least). Me and a few other stayed behind for additional duties. Austin gave me a ride back to the hotel in his classy Lexus. I took a shower. Me, Jason (), and some others were asked to help out some more around 6:30.

We went up RT's room to help inflate the pool toys. Gus and Brandon were there. Griffon bought this big ass inflatable curly snake that took like 45 minutes to inflate.

We got Dave () to blow it up. That whole ordeal was freaking hilarious. Got a text to send someone on a liquor run. Sent him on his way. More hilarity. I got a call to let in Geoff, Griffon, and others who were locked out of the hotel in the parking garage.

After that, we all went back to the room. Continued in first comment. When I signed up to be a volunteer, I thought they'd maybe have us be ushers or work doors. Not only have we done that, but we have also worked our asses off. I'm finally settling in in my hotel room at the DoubleTree. I have to wake up bright and early to man the shuttles taking people to the Drafthouse. Should be fun.

Here are a few snippets of RTX: The hottest new N64 games? Uh, it's 2011 DoubleTree. The web of cables in between the Xbox 360 stations. Getting started. There was also a really drunk dude. He disrupted Kinect gaming, rock band, and RT short screening going on in the background. I saw multiple friends of his wrangle him throughout the night, as well as one who escorted him away in a headlock.

That dude was crazy. And finally, a quote from Burnie Burns at the Friday after party: 'Where are the chicken nuggets?' Gotta go to bed soon. Gonna try to get up early and get a snack before shuttle duty.

I'm now on twitter. I have resisted it for soooo long. I always considered it a glorified facebook status. I remember when twitter first came out.

I thought it was so stupid. But after a long internal struggle, I'm now on it.

HOWEVER, I really don't intend to follow anyone. I have no desire to consume additional social media. I mean, facebook is enough already. I don't need to be reading and following up on multiple tweets per day per each person I follow. It's just that I often have thoughts that I feel are too small or fleeting to dedicate a whole facebook status to. So, I'm only gonna use twitter for sweet nothings. Feel free to check me out:.

As of right now I'm 68th on the list of. It may not seem like a big deal, but I'm a little happy about it. It'd be one thing to be on the list if it was measured by the day, but it goes back a whole week. I've been on this webste for a really long time (over 6 years), and I've been a fan way longer.

I started tuning in around episode 4. I kinda regret not signing up back in the old forum days, but oh well. I've been here so long. I'm not as involved as other community members though. That's why I'm a little stoked about making one of the community stat lists. Also, what's up with the rain this morning?

It was like night at 10am. I just saw a bunch of flying ants (or termites) take off to mate. Like, a thousand of them. There were about 7 lizards camping out, snacking on them. I was like 'yo lizard, stop being a noob' and they were all like 'It's a legitimate strategy!' I'm gonna go eat some chicken. Lame journal is lame.
